When asked, 97% of people said they would consider a more environmentally-friendly car.
Nearly 8 million people in britain will change their car over the next 6 months. Over 5 million will choose a second hand car while almost 2.5 million will buy a new car.

One third of all new parents will choose to upgrade their car to a more child-friendly model before their child is three years old. But not all so called "green" cars are as good as they first seem.

The first hybrid cars made by Toyota and Honda are already being superceeded by the new fuel efficient models from Volkswagen and BMW. Certainly the area of green vehicles is receiving a lot of attention from manufacturers at the moment, but technology is not developing as fast as expectations. By all means keep an environmental thought in mind when you buy your next car, but don't borrow extra cash to buy that "green" car unless it really is worth the money.
